In the eight edition of The Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA), ExcelVite has emerged as Gold winner for two award categories – Best Innovation and Best Global Market.
Organized by The Star Media Group (which runs Malaysia’s mainstream English medium newspaper “The Star”) together with other independent and governmental agencies, SOBA recognized Malaysian small-medium business and their immense contribution to the Malaysian economy. The eight edition of SOBA (year 2017) sought to honor deserving SMEs that have withstood a challenging year and emerged as champions in their industries.
ExcelVite took part in the Best Innovation Award category in view of its unique extraction technology which ensures the feedstock crude palm oil is fully utilized in the production of its flagship products— EVNol / EVNol SupraBio (Tocotrienol) and EVTene (Mixed-Carotene), as well as Renewable Energy and Oleo-Chemical Products. With strong clinical studies and brand recognition of EVNol / EVNol SupraBio and EVTene in markets overseas, ExcelVite also won Gold in the Best Global Market Award category.

The fact that ExcelVite is able to produce and supply palm phytonutrients especially the tocotrienols at a reasonable price point, is a testament in itself of our contribution to the oil palm industry. We are able to bring tocotrienols to the general public that will benefit from its unique health benefits (“super vitamin E” with unique health benefits published in over 1300 scientific publication). Regarding engineering achievement, ExcelVite has broken a barrier in terms of what is possible, with regard to phytonutrient extraction from palm oil products,” said WH Leong, CEO, ExcelVite Sdn.
