ExcelVite, a PIC/S GMP-certified palm phytonutrient producer, has debuted two new branded ingredients, EVNol-RP and EVNolMax-RP. EVNol-RP (liquid) and EVNolMax-RP (powder) consist of a natural mixture of tocotrienols and tocopherols (all 8 isoforms of vitamin E as found in diet/nature) derived from non-GMO and non-soy vegetable oils. It is the only non-soy and non-GMO full spectrum vitamin E (“E-Complete”) on the market, according to the company.
These are ExcelVite’s latest branded ingredients to address manufacturers’ and consumers’ demand for allergen-free, clean-label, and full spectrum vitamin E.
High plasma levels of full spectrum tocotrienol/tocopherol complex (E-Complete) has been shown to protect the elderly from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and reduced Alzheimer’s disease risk in several European cohort studies conducted through the CAIDE, AddNeuroMed, and Kungsholmen Projects involving more than 600 subjects.
“In response to growing market demand for clean-label, non-soy and non-GMO dietary supplement as well as food and beverage products, our R&D team over the past two years, has developed the EVNol-RP and EVNolMax-RP, a non-soy, non-GMO full spectrum tocotrienol/tocopherol complex in oil and powder forms respectively. “In addition, with the FDA’s new regulation ‘Nutrition labelling of dietary supplements,’ which specifies that vitamin E content needs be declared in milligrams (mg) instead of international units (IU) by January 1, 2020, it would be a great opportunity for dietary supplement manufacturers and our clients to formulate this new concept of vitamin E complete or reformulate existing Vitamin E with EVNol-RP (liquid) and EVNolMax-RP (powder) to keep up with the science and regulatory requirements.
