Stratum Nutrition, an ingredient supplier for pet and human health products, has announced the hire of two account managers, Alyssa Izzi and Eric Brown, as well as three promotions: Alexis Collins, director of product and brand strategy; David Hoover, marketing manager; and Jackie Rizo, digital engagement and communications specialist.
Alyssa Izzi joined Stratum as the Southwest region account manager, and prior to this role, she worked at Crux Ingredients as an account manager. “With my experience as a skilled relationship builder in sales, I understand the importance of providing high-level client services to ensure satisfaction and continual business. I hope to offer this knowledge to help our customers launch successful products and continue to contribute to a great team here at Stratum.”
Eric Brown has also accepted a role in the sales department, specifically the Northwest region account manager. Brown has spent over 20 years in business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales and account management, and spent the past 14 years working for Bergstrom Nutrition as sales director. “I am looking forward to working with the amazing Stratum Nutrition team to continue to bring our clients the best ingredients available. I believe it is an exciting time to join the Stratum team," Brown said.

Alexis Collins has been promoted to director of product and brand strategy, after joining Stratum in 2019 as product manager. During her tenure, she developed the position of product manager and led the company’s marketing team. Her background in science lends to her insight into the company’s current and potential products.
David Hoover, who formerly was a marketing coordinator with the company, has been promoted to marketing manager, in response to his willingness to manage more marketing operations, Stratum reports. Over the past year, Hoover took charge of creative design while managing marketing team products and implementing ingredient-focused strategies.
Jackie Rizo was promoted from her former title as content coordinator to digital engagement and communications specialist, a title change which reflected her broadening role within the company, according to Stratum. In addition to increasing Stratum’s presence across the industry via print, online, and social media, she is Stratum’s podcast host, and plans the company’s digital and print editorial opportunities.
