Liquid I.V. has expanded their portfolio with the launch of a “sugar-free” hydration multiplier which contains allulose, instead of the glucose found in its original formula.
 
The new Hydration Multiplier line took two years to develop and introduce to market, according to Liquid I.V., and this is the first allulose-based product of its kind to hit the market at this scale. It contains vitamins B3, B5, B6, B12, and C, along with electrolytes, and an allulose-amino acid blend which is certified by Osmolabs.
 
Allulose is a rare sugar, which, according to clinical research, doesn’t induce the glycemic and insulin responses that other forms of sugar do. Further, the addition of allulose to other forms of sugar may even reduce the glycemic and insulin responses that those sugars have. Still, longstanding debate over whether allulose-containing products should be considered sugar-free persists, with opponents arguing that applying the term to allulose is misleading.
