International ingredient and flavor company, Prinova USA, is collaborating with Zanda, LLC to manufacture and distribute Reginator, a patented combination of nine Essential Amino Acids (EAA) plus arginine that enhances athletic performance and supports a healthy, balanced diet for active people of all ages.
The formulation that supports Reginator was developed by Robert Wolfe, PhD, who is currently the Wormack Chair in Nutritional Longevity, professor of Geriatrics and director, Center for Translational Research in Aging and Longevity, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Wolfe will be presenting his latest research at SupplySide West at Central Stage, Booth EE182 Thursday, Sep. 28 at 12:30 pm and will be signing copies of his new book A Guide to Amino Acid and Protein Nutrition: Essential Amino Acid Solutions for Everyone at the Prinova USA Booth AA143 on Thursday from 1-2 pm.
Dr. Wolfe is internationally recognized for his work on muscle metabolism, and has recently turned his attention to aging muscle. In their previous research, Dr. Wolfe and his colleagues demonstrated anabolic responses of muscle protein to essential amino acid supplements, resistance exercise, and aerobic exercise in normal young volunteers.
Reginator helps people replace essential amino acids that are lost during digestion, exercise and aging. Essential amino acids are required in a specific ratio and amount to help with energy production and muscle metabolism as well as building new muscle tissue and assisting with cell repair, which occurs when muscles are recovering. Exercise and aging reduce a body’s ability to rebuild muscles and the body does not replace amino acids naturally.
