At Vitafoods Europe, PLT Health Solutions will launch Serezin Restorative Sleep + Pain Relief for the first time in Europe.
In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, users of Serezin saw improvements in sleep across a range of measures, such as time to fall asleep, reported sleep quality, ease of waking up, alertness, and mood. Users of Serezin also self-reported improvements in measures of pain during the day.
The study, which took place over 4 weeks, evaluated either a placebo or 300 mg daily dose of Serezin in 60 healthy men and women between 40 and 70 years old, who reported disturbed sleep due to everyday aches and pains at baseline. The treatment group experienced 64% greater improvement in restorative sleep assessment scores, an 85% greater ability to fall asleep, based on assessments, and a 2.6-times greater reduction in nighttime discomfort than subjects taking a placebo.
