The passage of the 2018 Farm Bill has validated hemp as a safe and legal ingredient within the nutritional products space. However, the road ahead for cannabidiol (more commonly referred to as CBD) is less clear.
 
In this podcast, Jane Wilson, American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) director of program development and liaison to the AHPA Cannabis Committee clarifies the difference between hemp and CBD, discusses marketing nutritional products containing hemp and CBD, and considers the road ahead for this natural health ingredient.
