Alix Technologies, Inc., a division of Pharmachem Laboratories, Kearny, NJ, has purchased a liquid and cosmetics processing facility in Salt Lake City, UT. The 100,000-square-foot, GMP facility will provide additional capacity for the company’s liquids business, allowing it to enter new markets, according to president Peter Hafermann. The new Salt Lake City facility adds increased capacity in high-volume liquids ranging in viscosity, hot and cold fill, and plastic or glass packaging configurations. The new facility operates under HACCP, is ISO 9001:2000 certified, OTC certified, GMP compliant and is supported by extensive in-house analytical capabilities.
