KSM-66 Ashwagandha from Ixoreal Biomed, Hyderabad, India, is now self-affirmed GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) based on a critical evaluation and acceptance of an independent expert panel. KSM-66 can now be utilized as a food ingredient for cereals, cereal bars, candies, chewing gum, cookies/biscuits and type I beverages. According to the determination, KSM-66 may be utilized in the specified foods at levels of 25 to 80 mg/serving.
