NBTY, Inc., Ronkonkoma, NY, has appointed Brian Wynne to the role of president of NBTY Americas, and CEO of its U.S. subsidiary- United States Nutrition, Inc. (USN). In this role he will have general management responsibility and P&L accountability for NBTY’s Wholesale Brands in North America and South America.
Mr. Wynne is a 25-year consumer packaged goods industry veteran who comes to NBTY from The Coca-Cola Company where he most recently served as SVP Strategy, Franchise Relations & Transformation for Coca-Cola North America Group. Prior to this role, he served as president of the Coca-Cola Company’s North American Still Beverages Unit. Mr. Wynne has held a wide variety of roles in general management, sales, operations, marketing and human resources roles within The Coca-Cola System.
He begins his new role on January 1, 2015 and will be based in Ronkonkoma, NY. He succeeds Glenn Schneider, who stepped down in October, from his position as president global wholesale.
