Navitas Naturals, Novato, CA, has added three new varieties to its Superfood+ Seeds and Nuts organic snack line. The new offerings— Cacao Hemp Almonds, Coconut Hemp Pepitas and Turmeric Tamari Almonds—can be used to add flavor and nutrition to various recipes including salads, desserts, trail mixes and more.

The new line combines organic superfoods with raw organic seeds and nuts. The gluten-free, GMO-free snack blends provide a balanced supply of antioxidants, fiber, protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. These three new certified organic snack mixes are fortified with hemp, cacao, coconut and turmeric superfoods.
The Turmeric Tamari Almonds variety features raw almonds with turmeric’s robust nutrition properties. The delicious blend gains superfood nutrition from the protein and healthy fats in the almonds, and the antioxidants in the turmeric — a potent yellow spice that has been used in India for thousands of years as a traditional medicine. The key antioxidant in turmeric is curcumin. Tamari, a Japanese condiment similar to soy sauce, is made from fermented soybeans. Tamari provides the nutritional benefits of soy, but unlike typical soy sauce, tamari is wheat- and gluten-free.
Coconut Hemp Pepitas provides crunchy pepitas, chewy coconut and nutty hemp seeds in a superfood blend. Hemp seeds provide protein, antioxidants and omega fats.
